ahhhhh, it got cold in south georgia and i am so very happy!
Temperatures fell into the low 40's here last night and I am in heaven! I have all the windows open, ceiling fans going, box fans in the windows and it's colder than you can imagine in my house right now and I AM HAPPY! (I wanted to say colder than a witches teat but I refrained - well, almost.)
Anyhow, I have on sweatpants, my Dopey sweatshirt and it feel good. The bed is cold. I don't have to grab a pillow out of the floor to cool off, I just have to move my feet to another area of the bed. AND MY FEET CAN STAY UNDER THE COVERS!!! woo-hoo!
I love winter. It is my favorite season and my only regret is I live in the south, where it doesn't snow. I had to put the windows in my Jeep this morning - it still felt good. Windows, bikini top and I wasn't smothering to death and covered in sweat. So yeah, if you see a white Jeep with doors and no top WAVE wildly - it's probably me

I did this to my husband for years post hysterectomy--keeping the house at freezing temperatures, that is, throwing off the covers a dozen times a night, etc. Now I've stabilized, and it's payback time. He's on Lupron and having hot flashes!! He complains if it gets over 68F and wants to run all the fans, all the time.

i am starting to level off - used to need to be lower than 50 and now i feel good at 65 degrees
